Good Morning Trojan Families,
This is a reminder that K-12 Registration is today and tomorrow from 8:00 to 3:30 in the district building. Middle school and high school students should join their guardians to pick up their lockers and class schedules.
The South Conejos School Board of Education will conduct a Regular Board Meeting on the 8th day of August 2023, at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in the Secondary Flex area.
Welcome back to school Trojans!
Preschool registration will be August 7th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Head Start building in Conejos. K-12 registration will be August 8th and 9th from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm at the district building. High school students are asked to come to registration to select electives.
August 16th will be the first day of school for all students.

Sports physicals will take place on Monday July 31st starting at 5:00pm. They will take place at the school. We will have a sign up sheet and the paper work ready for students. Please bring a parent/guardian to sign paper work.
Official fall sports season starts on August 7th.

Superintendent inducted into Adams State University Hall of Educator Fame
The South Conejos School Board of Education will be conducting a Regular Board Meeting on the 16th day of May 2023, at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in the Secondary Flex area.
Our 2022-2023 High School Academic & Athletic Awards Banquet will be May 17th at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. Students who are being honored will receive a ticket for themselves and two guests. Please join us in celebrating our amazing high schoolers!
Trojan Highlight: Marisela Vargas
Marisela works the cafeteria and she says “ I love my job” “ I love to cook for the students”, and “I enjoy seeing all the students grow and change over the years”. She has worked for the district for 6 years and if you know Marisela, you know that she is always jamming out to music at work. She loves ALL music. When she’s not in the kitchen, she enjoys traveling to Mexico with her grandkids to visit her family and expose them to her culture.
Trojan Weekly Athletics Update:
Updated middle school baseball small school bracket is updated, and we will be playing in Del Norte on Friday, May 12th. The game start time is 12:00 pm. Bus departs at 10:00 am. The opponent is TBD.
