The South Conejos School Board of Education will be conducting a Regular Board Meeting on the 24th day of August 2021 at 6 PM. Members of the public shall be allowed to submit requests to address the Board in the same manner that they were allowed at physical meetings of the Board. The final determination as to whether an item will appear on the board agenda will be at the discretion of the superintendent and Board president.

South Conejos School District is looking to add bus stops for students who live in the Town of Antonito and we need more information on families who would be interested in transportation. We still want to ensure that we are maintaining safe distancing protocols while serving students who live in city limits. As we prepare to head back to school, we have just a few health & safety reminders for this year!
Reminder that the Covid- 19 vaccine clinic will be at the School District today August 9 from noon to 4 Pm for ages 12 to 18. This is open to the public. Please use the main entrance to the school not the East side of the building.
Families there will be a preschool & Head Start information session on August 12th from 2:30-3:30 pm in the South Conejos cafeteria. We have limited slots left for Head Start eligible students, so please make sure to apply today at https://www.southconejos.com/page/preschool-application.
A reminder that our vaccine clinic for ages 12-18 will be August 9th from noon to 4:00 pm. Please sign up ahead of time at this link: https://www.comassvax.org//appointment/en/reg/32059. The second dose clinic will be on August 30th.

On August 9th from noon to 4:00 pm we will have a vaccination clinic at the school for students ages 12 through 18. This is open to all students in Conejos County. To register your student for the vaccine please use this link: https://www.comassvax.org//appointment/en/reg/3205919061. Or scan the QR code on the flyer. There are limited vaccines available, so please register as soon as possible!
We will also have an Open House and frito pie dinner on August 10th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Come meet your teachers and some of our new staff! We ask that all guests please wear a mask.
Finally a reminder that all families need to register prior to the start of school. You can do this online at www.southconejos.com or by coming to the school for assistance.

Middle school and high school students who register ahead of time will still need to come to the school at the scheduled times to pick up their class schedule and locks.

Our first days of school are quickly approaching and we can't wait to see everyone again! Middle school and high school students begin classes August 11th. Elementary students begin classes August 16th.
Elementary registration will be August 3rd and 4th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Middle school and high school registration will be August 9th and 10th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
All registration can be completed online ahead of time by going to www.southconejos.com and clicking the K-12 Registration link under the PARENTS tab on the main menu. The link to register is here: https://www.southconejos.com/page/k-12-registration.
This registration only has to be completed once per household. If you have one student, please skip the additional student pages. If you are registering more than one student, please add each student's information in the single registration.
Middle school and high school students will still need to come to the school on the 9th or 10th to pick up schedules and lockers.

Public Notice: The South Conejos School Board of Education will be conducting a Work Session on the 19th of July, at 1 PM.
Conejos County Department of Social Services will have a school supply giveaway on August 6th from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Conejos Parish Hall.
