Trojan Families,
Don’t forget that our K-6 holiday concert is this Wednesday, December 8th at 6 p.m. The kids are getting very excited for the program, and I cannot wait to present a live concert again this year!
A couple of reminders about the concert:
-All students in grade K-6 are required to attend! This is a graded performance, and should a student miss, they will need to make up the points another way.
-Students need to arrive no later than 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. When they arrive, send them straight to the gym to get lined up and ready to go!
-Students need to wear their “Sunday best,” which means no dirty and/or ripped pants or shirts. Jeans and t-shirts are fine as long as they meet those criteria! Students can also dress up in fancy dresses or shirts/ties if they want to and it is available to them.
-Everyone is welcome to attend, but all audience members must wear a mask during the concert.
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Barbier at kbarbier@southconejos.com. See you then!

Creede Repertory Theatre came to the school yesterday. They performed "El Guayabo/The Guava Tree for the elementary students which teaches students to be an "upstander" rather than a "bystander" in the face of bullying, while reinforcing the power of friendship.
The students had an outstanding time and they would like to give a big thank you to the performers, Patty de la Garza and Julian Ibarra. They would also like to thank Olivia Zapater-Charette, the tour manager.
