South Conejos School District is seeking your input to help us plan and prioritize how we will use our ESSER III funding. ESSER III funding must be used to meet needs resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds are one-time or short-term expenditures to address the ongoing impact of the pandemic. The funding is intended to: safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on students in areas such as learning loss and mental health supports.

Trojan Athletics Update: 🏀Our MS boys basketball game today @ Centauri MS has been postponed. It's not too late to get your Trojan gear! The athletics fundraiser has been extended to Monday, November 8th. We are getting close to our minimum goal of selling 60 items. To date we've sold 38 items. Thank you for your continued support. Here is the link: https://fancloth.shop/hxfra 🏐Last Friday our Lady Trojans played their final game of the season vs. Centennial. They finished the season with a deciding victory winning 3 sets to 0. Great job Lady Trojans! Also, the team wore pink jerseys and the community also came to the game wearing pink. This was in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Lady Trojans and staff of South Conejos School District would like to thank the community for all their donations. Because of your generosity, we raised $219 to give to the Stephanie L. On November 9th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm there will be a vaccine bus at South Conejos School District. They will have the Pediatric Pfizer vaccine as well as J&J, Moderna all three doses (that includes the booster), and flu vaccines. The Covid pediatric Pfizer vaccine is for ages 5-11. The Flu vaccine is for all ages. All other vaccines are for ages 12 and up. If you or your child would like to receive any of these vaccines please come by on November 9th. Vaccine Screening and Administration forms will be sent home with students tomorrow or can be picked up at the school district to be completed ahead of time.

🏐Trojan Athletics for 25-29 October 🏐This is our last week of regular season play for Volleyball. Please come out and support our Lady Trojans! 10/28, 5pm - Our Lady Trojans will be travelling to South Park High School for a varsity game. 10/29, 5pm - Our Lady Trojans will be having their last regular season game at home. Come out and wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will be taking donations at the door for the Stephanie Miner Imaging Center located in Alamosa. Also, stay after the game for appreciation/senior night. GO TROJANS!

Trojan Families, Administration has spoken with Antonito PD and the school district does not have to evacuate at this time and is outside of the perimeter of the gas leak. They are advising we shelter in place, meaning all students stay inside the building. If there are any changes, families will be notified.

Today there was an incident involving police in town limits. Administration was in communication with law enforcement and there was no threat present at the school.

Good Evening Trojan Families, This is a reminder that tomorrow is Parent Teacher Conferences from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Students will be dismissed at 2:00 pm. Conferences are in-person, but for families who would like to request Zoom or phone conferences, please contact your teacher directly. All parents will be asked to wear a mask while in the building. Families can download our app or visit our website for a complete calendar of events for the year.

Homecoming Dance Deets: The homecoming dance is from 8:00-11:00 pm tonight. Homecoming Royalty please come dressed in formal wear with crowns and sashes. We will take pictures of homecoming royalty at 8:15 pm. The dress code is semi-formal and masks are required. The door to the secondary flex will be the only door that will be open. Proceeds from the dance will go toward Student Council. Singles tix are $3 and couples tix are $5.
