Middle School and High School Students! Here are the homecoming dance door prizes. Tickets to the dance are $5 per couple and $3 per single. You must be present to win.

Trojan Weekly Athletics:
MS Volleyball schedule should be published at the end of the week or the beginning of next week. The first game will be on 7 Sep 2023. Antonito will host the End of Season tournament at the beginning of October. We will need help from our Trojan Nation to ensure we have enough workers for a successful event. We had a blast kicking off the 2023-2024 school year! Our elementary crew participated in their own Amazing Race and our secondary crew worked together paddle boarding & kayaking (though maybe a few people got pushed into the pond). Both days were full of crew bonding, exploration, and celebration.
We want to thank all our Trojan Crew Staff for their work to make this a great start this year for our students. We also want to give a big thank you to our friends at SLV Go, Rio Grande Farm Park, and the City of Alamosa for making it a great experience for our students.
And finally we want to thank our students - it wouldn't be a fun start to the school year without all the laughter, joy, and wonder you bring us here at South Conejos!

This is just a friendly reminder to join us tonight for open house to meet all our Trojan crew, a chance to win Trojan swag, and support our PTO by ordering some tasty frito pies! Open house will be from 5:00-6:30 followed by a great presentation on Drug Awareness hosted by Antonito Together.

We are so excited to welcome back all our students tomorrow! This is a reminder that drop off and breakfast is between 7:30 and 8:00 am. Any families wishing to walk with their student to their class - please just sign into the front office first.
Middle school and high school students will be having a field experience in Alamosa at the Blanca Wetlands on Thursday the 17th, so parents please make sure to check for permission slips tomorrow night!
On the evening of Thursday the 17th, we will have a Welcome Back Open House starting at 5:00 pm followed by a Drug Awareness Presentation at 6:30 pm from our friends at Antonito Together. PTO will also be selling frito pies to help support student activities.
Our Trojan Crew cannot wait to see all our students and families in the next few days.
