Creede Repertory Theatre came to the school yesterday. They performed "El Guayabo/The Guava Tree for the elementary students which teaches students to be an "upstander" rather than a "bystander" in the face of bullying, while reinforcing the power of friendship.
The students had an outstanding time and they would like to give a big thank you to the performers, Patty de la Garza and Julian Ibarra. They would also like to thank Olivia Zapater-Charette, the tour manager.



Covid Vaccine Clinic will held in on Thursday November 18th from 12-3 at 755 2nd street in Sanford. Sanford School Aux Gym. Students ages 5 to 11. All are welcome. If you have questions please contact Michelle at 719-274-5167

Good Evening Trojan Families,
This is a reminder that tomorrow from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm a vaccine bus will in the South Conejos School District parking lot. The Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5 through 11 will be available, as well as the Moderna or Pfizer for first or second dose or booster for everyone 12 and older. Flu shots will also be available. All vaccines are free. This is open to everyone in Conejos County. Families can take their student from classes for the vaccine.

🏀Our MS boys basketball game today @ Centauri MS has been postponed.

🏐Last Friday our Lady Trojans played their final game of the season vs. Centennial. They finished the season with a deciding victory winning 3 sets to 0. Great job Lady Trojans! Also, the team wore pink jerseys and the community also came to the game wearing pink. This was in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Lady Trojans and staff of South Conejos School District would like to thank the community for all their donations. Because of your generosity, we raised $219 to give to the Stephanie L. Miner Imaging Center in Alamosa. THANK YOU!

On November 9th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm there will be a vaccine bus at South Conejos School District. They will have the Pediatric Pfizer vaccine as well as J&J, Moderna all three doses (that includes the booster), and flu vaccines. The Covid pediatric Pfizer vaccine is for ages 5-11. The Flu vaccine is for all ages. All other vaccines are for ages 12 and up. If you or your child would like to receive any of these vaccines please come by on November 9th. Vaccine Screening and Administration forms will be sent home with students tomorrow or can be picked up at the school district to be completed ahead of time.

🏐This is our last week of regular season play for Volleyball. Please come out and support our Lady Trojans!
10/28, 5pm - Our Lady Trojans will be travelling to South Park High School for a varsity game.
10/29, 5pm - Our Lady Trojans will be having their last regular season game at home. Come out and wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will be taking donations at the door for the Stephanie Miner Imaging Center located in Alamosa. Also, stay after the game for appreciation/senior night.

Trojan Families,
Administration has spoken with Antonito PD and the school district does not have to evacuate at this time and is outside of the perimeter of the gas leak. They are advising we shelter in place, meaning all students stay inside the building. If there are any changes, families will be notified.
