After the week of May 2nd-5th 2022, the incentive Covid testing program will be over for the year. Thank you to all the students who participated.

The South Conejos School Board of Education will be conducting a Regular Board Meeting on the 26th day of April 2022, at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in the Secondary Flex area.

CMAS Testing for grades 3-8th and 11th begins next week. Please read the attached letter and schedule.

Good afternoon Trojan families. Today's MS Baseball game has been cancelled due to the high wind warning that remains in effect until 8pm this evening. We will try to reschedule the game with Sargent for a future date. Have a fantastic day and GO TROJANS!

On Wednesday April 6th, Conejos County Public Health will be at South Conejos Schools to administer mandatory vaccines to students who will be in the 6th grade for the 2022-2023 school year. I will be sending home permission slips for those who are interested. Please contact the school nurse if you have any questions.

Athletics update: Spring sports are in full swing. Spring sports this year are high school track, middle school track, and middle school baseball. All schedules have been updated on our website: https://www.southconejos.com/athletics?page_no=7 Spring sports parent meeting is schedule for Wednesday, April 6th. As a reminder, sports pictures will be taken on Monday, April 4th. GO TROJANS!

Spring Pictures will be on Monday April 4th. This will include individual pictures for those who want them, class pictures, and basketball, wrestling, baseball, and track pictures. Students were sent home with picture packets. If you need additional packets, please pick them up from the front office.

After school tutoring for grades 6-12 will resume on Tuesday, April 5th. Our final quarter begins today (3/28). Welcome back from Spring Break and have a great Trojan day!

Athletic update: 🏀Tomorrow, March 18th, please come on out to Alamosa High School to support Ms. Shiinei Tallman and Mr. Dalton Romero as they compete in The Arby's SLV All Star Basketball Game. Girls game begins at 6pm and Boy's game at 8pm. 🤼‍♂️Congratulations to Mr. Adrik Abeyta! Adrik qualified for the State Wrestling tournament and he will be competing this Friday and Saturday in Denver. Good luck at state Adrik! GO TROJANS!

Check out our own little Antartica here at South Conejos! Our 3rd grade class created their own display and research project about the animals of the area. All of us at South Conejos (penguins included) want to wish everyone a restful and fun Spring Break next week!

Trojan Families, Due to road conditions, we are going to have early dismissal today at 2:00 pm. Student pick-up will be at 2:00 and busses will depart the school at this time. Bus routes may take longer than usual. Drive safe and stay warm during this spring storm!

Good Morning Trojan Families, We will be having a lockdown drill today from 1:15 to 2:15 to practice safety protocols. We ask if families need to pick up their student before our 4:00 pm dismissal, please arrange to come to the school before or after the drill. Thank you for your help in making our school a safe space for our students!

Tutoring will NOT BE HELD on Mondays and Wednesdays until further notice. Mrs. Rendon will continue to hold tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

There will be no tutoring for middle school or high school students today (Thursday, 3/3/22). Please continue to monitor your grades and work with your teachers on getting caught up. Tutoring will resume on Monday, 3/7/22.
