Each day, they work tirelessly to promote students' academic success, social-emotional growth, and overall well-being.
Our counselors and therapist provide a safe, welcoming environment where students feel heard, supported, and empowered. Through individual counseling, group support, and collaboration with families, teachers, and staff, they help students navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.

On February 12,2026, South Conejos School District invites our Trojan Families to join us for our Celebration of Learning Night and Parent Teacher Conferences with Guadalupe Elementary, Antonito Middle and High School. Come see all the student academic projects on display throughout the school and visit with your student’s teachers and support staff. We will also have information booths, light refreshments, and the students will have concessions for purchase. We look forward to seeing you there! The South Conejos School Board of Education will conduct a Special Board meeting on the 3rd day of February 2026, at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be conducted in the Secondary Flex area.
Today was a great day of celebration! We were honored to have a couple of our board members join us to help hand out awards and personally recognize and celebrate the hard work and achievements of our secondary students. A total of 27 secondary students earned the Principal's Honor Roll Award, reflecting their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to academic excellence. It was a proud moment for our students, board members, and staff as we celebrated these accomplishments. Congratulations to all of our honorees! Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are proud of you!
Our Elementary awards ceremony was a wonderful celebration of hard work, growth, and perseverance. We were proud to recognize 37 students who earned the Principal's Honor Roll Award, reflecting their consistent effort and commitment to academic excellence.

What an outstanding showing at the Randy and Naomi Keys Duals Tournament held at Centauri on Saturday! Our wrestlers competed with heart, determination, and true Trojan grit all day long. Congratulations to our Antonito Girls Wrestling Team for an incredible 1st Place Team Finish! Special thanks to our cheerleaders for coming out and cheering our wrestlers on from start to finish. We are so proud of our athletes and coaches for representing Antonito with pride!

Friday evening's home wrestling night was packed with excitement, energy, and Trojan pride! Our wrestlers delivered an action-filled night that kept the crowd cheering from start to finish. The evening was made even more special as we took time to celebrate and recognize our parents and seniors. We are incredibly grateful for the families who support our athletes every step of the way, and we are so proud of our senior wrestlers for their dedication and commitment to the program.

With record low temperatures upon us, we encourage students to bring and wear appropriate cold weather coats, hats, and gloves. While we may not go outside for brain breaks or lunch recess, they should be prepared for cold weather in case of emergencies that could require them to go outside.Please reach out to me direct if you need assistance in getting cold weather gear for your child. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and warm.

Also on Saturday, be sure to support our basketball teams as they take on Lake City at home, with game time beginning at 2:00 PM. Go Trojans!

Our Trojan wrestlers had a strong showing at this weekend's tournament in Trinidad! The Lady Trojans competed on Friday and brought home an impressive 3rd-place finish. Our boys took the mat on Saturday and battled tough competition throughout the day. Congratulations to our individual placers:

Seniors are doing another fundraiser. We will be raffling two Trojan Baskets. Each will have two trojan water bottles, trojan blanket, two gift cards to local restaurants, a candle, trojan hat, fluffy socks and gloves. Each ticket is is $5.00 or 5 tickets for $20.00. Please support the class of 2026!
