This afternoon, our elementary students were busy presenting to their classmates, and they all did a fantastic job! We were proud to see their confidence, creativity, and hard work on display. Here are some highlights from our Trojan activities over the weekend. Our boys and girls basketball teams traveled to Primero while our wrestlers competed in Salida this past Saturday. Congratulations to our Salida placers:

Our Boys and Girls Basketball teams will be traveling to La Veta for a two-day tournament beginning Friday, while our Boys and Girls Wrestling teams head to Grand Junction for a two-day tournament starting Friday as well. Congratulations to our middle school boys basketball team on an outstanding season and a well-earned 5th place finish in the end-of-year tournament held on Saturday! Your hard work, teamwork, and dedication were on full display all season long. On Friday, December 12, 2025, we will be taking all Elementary students on the Cumbres and Toltec Santa’s Holiday Express Train that departs the train station at 1:30. If you want to accompany your student, you will need to purchase an adult ticket for that specific excursion (12 Dec 25/1:30pm) by visiting the website,. https://cumbrestoltec.com/excursions/ or by going to the train station. Student may begin arriving at the school between 12:00 and 1:00 which is when the bus will leave the school to head to train station. Students should wear appropriate winter layers to stay warm and minimize any backpacks to just water and a snack. Last night's Holiday Concert was special. Our students filled the stage with festive cheer as they shared the songs they had worked so hard to prepare. Thank you to our families, friends, and community members who gathered to support these wonderful students, making the night even more memorable. A huge shout-out to Mrs. Gettel, who worked tirelessly to help our students prepare for this special night. A big thank you to all our staff who played a role in making this night successful!

Good Afternoon Trojan Families, Our annual Holiday Music Program is tonight! Join us from 6:00pm-7:00pm to watch your child perform as a chorus in the holiday program! The theme is "Holiday Parade" so please dress your student in holiday wear. Students must arrive no earlier than 5:30pm. We ask that all students be seated with their parents until their performance time and return to their seats after they come off the stage. Please remind your children that during the performance, they will not be allowed in the auxillary gym to play or cause any disruptions to the performance. We appreciate your cooperation in showing respect for all our wonderful performers.
